Mining Leases may be granted over both Crown and private land, so long as that land falls under the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995. Mining operations include: obtaining and treating minerals, storing and containing minerals or waste material generated on a lease or another area, and activities associated with mining. Mining also includes production activities in relation to a category 4 mineral or a category 6 mineral.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
