Description: The Landslide Planning Map shows the distribution and relative susceptibility of landslides in Tasmania and underpins the state’s planning and building regulations. The landslide hazard bands are part of the Landslide Planning Map, which is a statewide overlay that determines where landslide hazard must be considered in development assessments. The hazard bands divide land into five categories that set the regulatory requirements for land use planning and building control to reduce the impact of landslides on new development.Refer to Landslide Planning Map Update for more information
