Prior to travel through any Department of StateGrowth roadworks site, where the vehicle inclusive of load exceeds 3.0 metres in width, the operator must make direct contact with the site supervisor to agree travel arrangements and conditions and to ensure that the vehicle, together with its load, can safely negotiate the site without unreasonably disrupting other road users or causing damage.

Where a Transport Escort is involved in the activity, written confirmation of the agreement between the operator and the site supervisor must be made available to and agreed with the Transport Escort prior to travel (Minimum one working week day).
