Locations of primary wood processors is derived from the current version of the Tasmanian Primary Processor Directory and can be found using this Map. This Map and the Tasmanian Primary Wood Processor Directory is intended to be used by private forest owners seeking potential buyers for their wood.
The Directory includes contact details, mill type and scale, products produced, logs purchased and method of purchase. The Directory also includes details of chain of custody certification, contact details for forest management companies and wood brokers, and consulting forest practices officers.
The Map is updated regularly and includes only processors who have consented to be included.
