 "description": "<DIV STYLE=\"text-align:Left;\"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>To create the Biodiversity Values Database (BVD) Threatened Fauna and Flora, Natural Values Atlas (NVA) Feature Observation Points were processed as follows:<\/SPAN><\/P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>Application of a search envelope to limit records with at least 1km buffer from Tasmania's coast.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P><SPAN>Selection of all fauna and flora species which are attributed as threatened, or which species names could not be identified, but belong to a genus that only contains threatened species in Tasmania. <\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><\/UL><P><SPAN>Application of additional filters to fauna species records:<\/SPAN><\/P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>R<\/SPAN><SPAN>emoval of extinct species records<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P><SPAN>R<\/SPAN><SPAN>emoval of absent audibles, captures and sightings observation types<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P><SPAN>R<\/SPAN><SPAN>emoval of not detected and not recorded observation types<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P><SPAN>J<\/SPAN><SPAN>oin of remaining records with the BVD Lookup table and application of corresponding filters.<\/SPAN><\/P><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>These filters intend to exclude observations for:<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><UL><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Marine species<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Seabirds<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Shorebirds<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Wetland species<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Vagrant species<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Migratory species which do not breed in Tasmania<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Species which occur entirely within reserves<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Species that don\u2019t require management for other reasons<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 11 0;\"><SPAN>Certain observation types, sometimes in combination with certain observation states, which don\u2019t require management.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><\/UL><\/LI><\/UL><P><SPAN>For a detailed user limitation description of the <\/SPAN><SPAN>Natural Values Atlas (NVA) <\/SPAN><SPAN>Feature Observation Points <\/SPAN><SPAN>source <\/SPAN><SPAN>data, please refer to the ENV.NVA_FEATURE_OBSERVATION_POINTS feature class metadata.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
